I have had the free upgrade over Win7, but need to change my hard drive probably new ssd so will need to install from scratch. Rather than have to retrace my installs from XP, then Win 7 pro upgrade, then Win10 upgrade, I was thinking of simply buying Win 10 Pro. In this environment I will probably also want dual boot with yet-to-be-acquired Linux, but that can be for another time. My PC is quite old, so I don't know if I am missing any recent motherboard boot-from-a-usb option?
